Brad's Status

Ben Stiller gives a solid performance as Brad Sloan...a father who starts to examine the successes in his own life (compared to those of his old friends) as he travels with his son to visit East Coast colleges.
Brad's disappointment and unhappiness overtakes and brings down the tone of the entire movie.

Get Big

Based on true events, "Get Big" tells the story of two high school friends getting back to together after graduation to attend a friend's wedding.
The movie selection has been somewhat bleak this season, and that may be how this film got into major theaters.
It's not a bad movie. It feels like a B movie...when considering the screenplay and acting.
